I am very privileged to have met and worked with this inspirational family on several occasions.
This time it was for the You Magazine and Die Huigenoot.
The mothers day issue 2018 featured the cover of both magazines as well as a full feature. I am so blessed that the cover of this magazine was also featured the full length of the Naspers Billboard in Town for a week.
This was one of those moments of my career that I will always be grateful for and will never forget.
More about the photo session. I arrived at the Nell Roberts home in Camps bay and was welcomed with a steaming mug of coffee.
Cindy’s personal stylist Laeeqa Yunus was finishing up her hair and make-up and the kids were all on the bed, very excited to have their turn in front of my lens. Lauren helping out with the kids outfits.
This was the first time I met Clive Roberts and I was pleasantly surprised by his calm and friendly presence.
We had a lot of footage to get and ended up spending the rest of the day together. Even the dogs joined in the adventure.
Moments like these make my career worthwhile.

A family is like a circle.
The connection never ends,
and even if at times it breaks,
in time it always mends.
A family is like the stars.
Somehow they’re always there.
Families are those who help,
who support and always care.
A family is like a book.
The ending’s never clear,
but through the pages of the book,
their love is always near.
A family is many things.
With endless words that show
who they are and what they do
and how they teach you so you know.
But don’t be weary if it’s broken
or if through time it’s been so worn.
Families are like that –
they’re split up and always torn.
But even if this happens,
your family will always be.
They help define just who you are
and will be a part of you eternally.
